Dike-New Hartford is 9-1 against Denver since June of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to face off against the Cyclones at 5:00 p.m. Dike-New Hartford's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three games, but Monday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Dike-New Hartford and Hudson meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Wolverines came up short against the Pirates, falling 9-2.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Denver was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 11-1 to Sumner-Fredericksburg. The loss continues a trend for the Cyclones in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Denver's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Dike-New Hartford, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Dike-New Hartford came out on top in a nail-biter against Denver when the teams last played last Thursday, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
