Softball Game Preview: Eisenhower Eagles vs. MacArthur Highlanders

Eisenhower is on a ten-game streak of home losses, and MacArthur a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Eisenhower Eagles will look to defend their home field against the MacArthur Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Edmond Memorial hit Eisenhower with a ten-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 17-6 to the Bulldogs.

Isabella (Bella) Musselman and Addison Tiller stepped up to the plate in a big way. Musselman went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Tiller went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Kamryn Knutson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for MacArthur's offense. They came up short against Duncan on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17-2. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 2-20.
