After a string of three wins, South Gate's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Legacy Tigers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Rams happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 16, 2024.

Sherly Alvarado was the only thing that stood between South Gate and a shutout considering she scored both of South Gate's goals, bringing her season total up to 18 goals.

With that draw, South Gate's record moves to 13-3-4. Meanwhile, Legacy's record is now 8-2-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Huntington Park the next time they take the pitch. Legacy will head out to face Huntington Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while South Gate will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on January 29th.
