Volleyball Recap: Oak Grove's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oak Grove lost to Pleasant Hill back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Panthers blew past the Roosters/Chicks 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Pleasant Hill scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-24, 25-20.

Paisley Hudson paced Oak Grove's offense, picking up 19 kills. Hudson got some help from Emmy Brown and her 36 assists. Hudson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Piper Hudson, each putting up two.

Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 28-0-1. As for Pleasant Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14-3.

Oak Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Smith-Cotton on the 8th. As for Pleasant Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Warrensburg on the 7th.
