Soccer Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Wiseburn- Da Vinci after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Palisades Dolphins by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Dolphins are ranked 56th).

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's goal came courtesy of Liya Nartey, who's now up to 16 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Wiseburn- Da Vinci and nudges their season record down to 9-7-1. As for Palisades, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Hollywood on the 28th. Palisades has also already played their next contest, a 13-0 win against Westchester on the 27th.
