Soccer Game Preview: Chestatee vs. East Hall

The Chestatee War Eagles will face off against the East Hall Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chestatee will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Chestatee barely beat Pickens the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The War Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Dragons a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. Give Chestatee's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, East Hall sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Winder-Barrow on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for East Hall in their matchups with Winder-Barrow: they've now won three in a row.

Chestatee's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matches. As for East Hall, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
