Gilroy can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past the Independence 76ers 51-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mustangs have posted since December 5, 2024.

Gilroy's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-11. As for Independence, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Gilroy is taking a road trip to square off against Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Independence, they will face off against Live Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Live Oak will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Independence surely won't give up without a fight.
