Basketball Recap: Hannah Walker Key Part of a Team Effort in Centurions Win

On Friday, the Cypress Centurions strolled past the La Habra Highlanders with points to spare, taking the game 57-39. Given the Centurions' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 337th, while the Highlanders are ranked 799th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cypress' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hannah Walker led the charge by putting up eight points along with eight boards and three steals. Sophia Cunha was another key player, posting six points and nine rebounds.
