Volleyball Recap: Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Triumphs

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley won the last time they faced Shelby-Rising City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Huskies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-20.

Lauryn Koch paced Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's offense, picking up five kills. Koch got some help from Emma Hinrichs and her ten assists.

Aleigha Escobar-Schaefer and Hayden Hopwood certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Escobar-Schaefer had seven digs and two assists, while Hopwood had eight digs.
