Softball Recap: Mid-Prairie Comes Up Short

Mid-Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets, falling 24-5.

Mid-Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-19.

Looking ahead, Mid-Prairie will head out to face off against West Burlington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, they will welcome Columbus on Wednesday.
