Softball Recap: Stuart Has No Trouble Against Savanna

Stuart won the last time they faced Savanna and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Hornets have won nine matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Stuart and bumps their season record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Savanna, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Stuart will face off against Vanoss at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Savanna, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-3 loss against Crowder on the 17th.
