Clarke Central fell victim to Winder-Barrow and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bulldoggs by a score of 1-0. The Gladiators' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Macon Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Clarke Central is 6-3 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-9 otherwise.
