Denver South had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Denver East on Tuesday. The Ravens put the hurt on the Angels with a sharp 9-2 win. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Angels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Olivia Gibson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Gibson was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Denver South let Emma Gibson and Maya Krosky run wild. Gibson went 1-for-2 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Krosky went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Krosky has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kynley Price, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Denver South's record now sits at 5-7. As for Denver East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
