Soccer Game Preview: Valdosta vs. Tift County

Valdosta is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Tift County a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Valdosta Wildcats will host the Tift County Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Valdosta came up short against Ware County and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, Valdosta can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 320th, while Ware County are ranked 152nd).

Meanwhile, Tift County fell victim to Camden County and their airtight defense last Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Wildcats.

Tift County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Valdosta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
