Soccer Recap: Winder-Barrow Comes Up Short

Winder-Barrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apalachee Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Winder-Barrow have lost by exactly two goals.

Winder-Barrow's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Apalachee, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9-1.

Winder-Barrow and Apalachee will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Bulldoggs see the pitch they'll take on Commerce at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Apalachee, their break will end when they face Lambert at 8:00 p.m. on the 15th.
