Soccer Recap: North Stokes Comes Up Short

The North Stokes Vikings lost 6-1 to the West Davidson Dragons on Thursday. While losing is never fun, North Stokes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while West Davidson are ranked 237th).

North Stokes' goal came courtesy of Adrian Tynio, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for North Stokes and nudges their season record down to 3-8-2. As for West Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-4.

North Stokes wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 9-0 defeat against Salem Christian School on the 29th. As for West Davidson, they will head out to challenge Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
