There's no place like home for the Scotts Valley Falcons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They secured a 45-39 W over Gunn on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Scotts Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Abigail Shi was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 18 points. Brooklyn Williams was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Scotts Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Gunn, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Scotts Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. St. Francis will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Gunn, they will head out on the road to face off against Sacred Heart Prep at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
