Soccer Game Preview: Saddleback vs. Santiago

The Saddleback Roadrunners will challenge the Santiago Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saddleback's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, neither Saddleback nor Western could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Saddleback's goal came courtesy of Valeria Guzman, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, Santiago's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Magnolia by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Cavaliers haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Santiago's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. Saddleback's draw makes their record 3-11-3 this season.
