While Tuesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Mikayla Thurman. She was excellent on Tuesday, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 1.2 stolen bases per game.

Thurman's strong effort led Luella over Douglass and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are a perfect 3-0 against the Astros going back to August of 2024, a lead they'll look to extend.
