Baseball Game Preview: Lenape Indians vs. Hunterdon Central Red Devils

The Lenape Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Hunterdon Central Red Devils at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Lenape is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since April 9th on Friday. They came up short against Seneca, falling 9-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Hunterdon Central came out on top against Somerville on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Red Devils were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Pioneers. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Danny Contiliano, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Ryan Ganguzza also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Hunterdon Central's record now sits at 15-11. As for Lenape, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.
