Baldwin Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-32 heartbreaker at the hands of the Azusa Aztecs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Braves have suffered against the Aztecs since February 3, 2016.

Baldwin Park's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Azusa, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.

Baldwin Park has already played their next matchup (against Garey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Azusa is taking a road trip to square off against Sierra Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Sierra Vista's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home while Azusa has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
