Soccer Game Preview: Ripon Christian vs. Ripon + How To Watch

Ripon Christian is 1-6 against Ripon since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Indians at 5:45 p.m. The contest will give Ripon Christian their first taste of in-conference action this season.

Ripon Christian came up short against Kingsburg on Saturday, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, Ripon kept a clean sheet against East Union on Monday. They came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Ripon's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while East Union are ranked 315th).

Ripon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those nine matches. As for Ripon Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1.

Ripon Christian suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Ripon in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
