Soccer Recap: Aliso Niguel Triumphs

Aliso Niguel kept a clean sheet against San Juan Hills on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the San Juan Hills Stallions 1-0. Given the Wolverines' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Stallions are ranked 238th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aliso Niguel's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3-2. As for San Juan Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season.
