Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Defeat Ends Los Angeles CES's Winning Streak

Los Angeles CES lost against Venice back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Los Angeles CES Unicorns fell 2-0 to the Venice Gondoliers. While losing is never fun, the Unicorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Gondoliers are ranked 132nd).

Los Angeles CES moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Venice, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season.
