Volleyball Recap: North Miami Warriors vs. Kokomo Wildkats
The home team had come away the winner the last four times North Miami and Kokomo had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors came out on top against the Wildkats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The game was the first time the Warriors have beaten the Wildkats on their court since September 13, 2017.
North Miami had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-16, 26-24.
Several Wildkats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tia Williams, who had 19 digs and one block. The team also got some help courtesy of Torre Willis, who had nine digs and one block.
