Softball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo couldn't beat Ada on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the seventh inning. The Tigers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Tupelo and nudges their season record down to 2-4. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Ada, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tupelo will take on Asher at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Ada, they will square off against Madill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
