Baseball Game Preview: Creekside Seminoles vs. Drew

For the second straight game, Creekside will face off against Drew. Creekside will square off against Drew at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Creekside is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Drew a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck.

Having struggled with ten defeats in a row, Creekside turned things around against Drew on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Drew a 17-0 shutout. The Seminoles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

TAKEEVIUS THORTON made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Creekside is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-9 otherwise. THORTON was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February.
