            Lowndes is 7-1 against Tift County since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will look to defend their home field  against the Blue Devils  at 8:00  p.m. One thing working in Lowndes' favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season.
Lowndes is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Georgia's top teams: Colquitt County, who was ranked 14th  at the time (Lowndes was ranked 13th). The Vikings enjoyed a cozy  31-14 victory over the Packers on Friday. Give the Vikings' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest  points they've scored all season.

Lowndes can attribute much of their success to   Mason Woods, who rushed for 121 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, and   Jayce Johnson, who rushed for 55 yards and one  TD. What's more,  Johnson racked up 181  passing yards, the most he's  had since back in November of 2024.
