Widefield entered their tilt with Palisade on Saturday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 16-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Gladiators, who have now won 15 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Olivia McEwen made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. McEwen was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
