Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Harlem

The Jefferson Dragons will take on the Harlem Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jefferson hadn't beaten North Oconee on the road since April 18, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Dragons who were credited with the victory. Jefferson got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to North Oconee's four.

Harlem played against Cross Creek on Thursday and won via forfeit.

The win (which was Harlem's third in a row) raised their record to 10-7. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
