Basketball Recap: Cailyn Schall Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lewisburg

Jersey Shore won the last time they faced Lewisburg and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Jersey Shore Bulldogs managed a 57-51 win over the Lewisburg Green Dragons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Jersey Shore got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cailyn Schall out in front who posted 18 points along with five assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave Schall a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Dincher, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 17 points and six boards.

Jersey Shore's record now sits at 17-7. As for Lewisburg, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6.

Coming up, Jersey Shore will square off against Central Columbia at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Central Columbia will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Jersey Shore surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lewisburg, they are taking a road trip to challenge Selinsgrove at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
