Basketball Game Preview: Foothill Knights vs. Great Oak Wolfpack

The Foothill Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Great Oak Wolfpack at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Foothill is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Glendora on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Foothill was outmatched by Glendora and fell 58-20. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-10.

Meanwhile, Great Oak wound up with the same score they had in their last game (56-47), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 658th, while the Wolves are ranked 55th).

Foothill's record is now 4-6. As for Great Oak, their record now sits at 2-8.
