Baseball Recap: Miller Grove Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lithonia, Miller Grove was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Towers Titans. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Mason Wiggins and Raymond Scott did most of the damage at the plate: Wiggins got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Scott went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Scott has posted since back in March of 2025.

Miller Grove's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Towers, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Miller Grove will face off against Mt. Zion at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Towers, they will challenge Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
