Basketball Recap: Arcata Wins Going Away Against East Nicolaus

Arcata saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took down the East Nicolaus Spartans 52-34. That looming 52-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Arcata found their leader in sophomore Jocilyn O'Donnell, who posted 11 points. Mae Wolford was another key player, putting up six points along with six boards and three steals.

Despite the loss, East Nicolaus still got an impressive performance from Rylee Gillespie, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 17 points and three steals. That was a full 50% of East Nicolaus' points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.
