Soccer Game Preview: Chavez vs. Taft

Chavez hasn't had much luck against Taft recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chavez Titans will welcome the Taft Wildcats at 6:00 p.m.

Chavez is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Shafter on Monday. Chavez fell just short of Shafter by a score of 1-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Taft duked it out withMcFarland on Thursday. Everything went Taft's way against McFarland as Taft made off with a 4-1 win. The result kept the Wildcats happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 14th.

Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-4. As for Taft, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-3.
