Basketball Game Preview: San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves vs. Laguna Hills Hawks

The San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Laguna Hills Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Jacinto Valley Academy's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Laguna Hills' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Wednesday, San Jacinto Valley Academy strolled past Nuview Bridge with points to spare, taking the game 44-30. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Kaahliyah Lacy continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 29 rebounds. Lacy is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Samantha Moore was another key player, putting up 15 points.

San Jacinto Valley Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Laguna Hills waltzed into their matchup last Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 51-27 margin over the Seahawks. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Laguna Hills' victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
