Football Recap: Upsala/Swanville Takes Down Browerville/Lafreniere Homeschool in a Playoff Battle

Upsala/Swanville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool a 42-0 shutout on Saturday. Given the Patriots' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool are ranked 227th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Among those leading the charge was Carson Primus, who picked up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one score on the ground. Brody Kircher got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
