Basketball Recap: Ephrata Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Ephrata won the last time they faced Warwick and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Ephrata Mountaineers enjoyed a cozy 49-32 win over the Warwick Warriors. Given the Mountaineers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Warriors are ranked 509th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ephrata's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Warwick, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10.

Ephrata has already played their next contest (against Solanco), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Warwick has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Elizabethtown.
