Softball Recap: St. James' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

St. James can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Crocker Lions 12-10. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Millie Hartley was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Elisa Bierman was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

St. James was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. The last time their batting average was this high was back in September of 2024.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Crocker, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

St. James does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crocker, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hartville at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
