Softball Game Preview: Edmund Burke Academy Spartans vs. Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots

The Edmund Burke Academy Spartans will challenge the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Edmund Burke Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Brentwood and fell 8-7. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics couldn't beat Johnson County on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Patriots took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Nash (Fr), who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Edmund Burke Academy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
