Pikesville dropped down to 4-2 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell 22-14 to the Sparrows Point Pointers. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

As for Sparrows Point, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average this season.

Sparrows Point's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mikey Maynor, who rushed for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Maynor's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 115 rushing yards. Maceo Hardnett was another key player, rushing for 14 yards and one score.

Coming up, Pikesville will venture away from home to face off against Chesapeake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bay Hawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
