A well-balanced attack led Immanuel over Reedley in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Immanuel Eagles blew the Reedley Pirates out of the water with a 68-16 final score. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Immanuel found their leader in freshman Kiera Thomas, who went 10 for 19 on her way to 26 points and three steals. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Schletewitz, who went 5 of 9 en route to 12 points and six boards.

Immanuel pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.4 points per game. As for Reedley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Immanuel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-37 win against El Diamante on the 25th. Reedley has also already played their next contest (against Selma), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
