Softball Recap: Omaha Central Find Success

Omaha Central came out on top against Douglas County West on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Eagles took their match against the Falcon 12-9. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered an 8-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ada Jantzen and Nichole Palfini did most of the damage at the plate: Jantzen went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Palfini went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Katelyn McClure, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
