Baseball Recap: Pleasant Hope Takes a Loss

If Pleasant Hope was feeling good fresh off their 14-1 takedown of Osceola on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates came up short against the Skyline Tigers on Monday, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pleasant Hope now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Skyline, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-14.

As of now, neither Pleasant Hope nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
