Soccer Recap: Novato Comes Up Short

Novato was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Redwood Giants. The Hornets were probably out for revenge after losing 3-0 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Novato's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Redwood, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2-3.

Novato has already played their next match (against Archie Williams), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Redwood will be playing at home against San Marin at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Redwood's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so San Marin's offense will have their work cut out for them.
