Soccer Recap: Pierce Comes Up Short

Pierce lost against Live Oak back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pierce Bears came up short against the Live Oak Lions, falling 5-0.

Pierce now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Live Oak, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Pierce will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oroville at 3:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Pierce's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Live Oak, they will venture away from home to face off against Willows at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
