Recap: Crescenta Valley Falcons vs. Brentwood School Eagles
The Crescenta Valley Falcons and the Brentwood School Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Crescenta Valley Falcons had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 75-48 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Crescenta Valley's defeat signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.
Leading Brentwood School to victory were Jocelyn Pascual and Lev Feiman. Pascual scored 21 points along with four steals, while Feiman scored 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Feiman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Aariah Roa was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists and three steals.
Crescenta Valley's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-7. As for Brentwood School, they pushed their record up to 21-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Crescenta Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brentwood School, they will face off against Lynwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brentwood School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Lynwood likes a good challenge.
