West Liberty got themselves on the board against Roland-Story on Saturday, but Roland-Story never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Norsemen with a sharp  7-0 victory. Considering the Comets have won 15 contests by more than six  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
West Liberty has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Roland-Story, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 13 of their last 16 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record  this season.
 West Liberty will be playing at home against West Marshall  on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Comets 3.4, the Trojans 3.1) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Roland-Story does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
