Mainland's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for New Smyrna Beach, they have also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Everything went New Smyrna Beach's way against Mainland in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as New Smyrna Beach made off with an 8-0 victory.
