Baseball Recap: Landmark Christian Comes Up Short

Landmark Christian lost against Starr's Mill back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Landmark Christian War Eagles lost 11-1 to the Starr's Mill Panthers. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Niles Redrick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Landmark Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Starr's Mill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Landmark Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Fayette County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Starr's Mill, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers take on the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Starr's Mill will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
